Hi There!
I've been dipping in and out of the articles here on this website and find most of the information interesting.
I am a sales manager for an online travel company. I manage a team of approximately 25 commissioned sales agents. I've been in the industry for over 7 years and it's very interesting, I must say!
Managing a team of 25 different sales professionals is tough, so I'm looking for innovative ways of effectively leading each individual.
Cheers!

25 direct reports! That's a lot to manage. Is everyone remote or do you have directs located in our same location?

Half of them are "in-house" agents and the other half are "virtual" agents that work from home all over the country. So I've had to learn to manage face-to-face and virtually. It's challenging...I love it!

Welcome Jozette.
If your dipping in and out hasn't brought you to the "Management Tools Basics" yet, here's where you start:

Time to start the O3's (one-on-ones), if you're not doing them already. It's great that you want to lead each individual effectively: and you start with a thorough understanding of each individual's strengths, goals, motivations, weaknesses, desires and experience. O3's are the most effective way to get there.
